HGF'S BREAKING NEWS NO. 01, DEC. 2025
In the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam’s seafood sector continued its upward trend across key product groups. Pangasius exports reached USD 1.8 billion, with strong growth in China–Hong Kong, CPTPP, and the EU, while high-quality fry programs in An Giang support long-term raw material stability. Shrimp exports hit USD 3.9 billion (+22%), marking the highest monthly performance in October, driven by strong demand from China, CPTPP, the U.S., and the EU despite supply risks from flood losses in Phu Yen. Tuna exports reached USD 791 million, slightly lower than last year, but markets such as the UAE and EU continued to expand. Surimi exports surged 24% thanks to strong demand in Korea, Thailand, China, and the EU, reinforcing Vietnam’s rising position in the global market.
